CCAI - Waiting Child Program

We use CCAI and completed our SN adoption in January 2008. We were originally non-special needs with a LID of 9/11/2006.

We had a terrific experience with CCAI. We worked both with their Georgia and Colorado Offices.

Cost wise - through my experiences - friends and reading other boards - CCAI is one of the most cost effective agencies. We completed our adoption including Travel of 2 adults and 1 child (plus our adopted son) for about $20,000. This was before the Orphanage donation increase so I guess this would be about $22,000 now. We had absolutely no surprises involved in costs. In fact we got a refund when we missed our tour in Hong Kong due to a missed plane flight out of NY.

CCAI now uses both a designated list and shared list so you get the best of both worlds.
