About The Author of China Adoption Online

I am the older sister of five wonderful siblings, three from Asia! We recently returned home from China with our precious Joshua! Because my parents are so busy with my younger siblings, I was the best choice to do the paperwork for our adoptions from China!

Plus, I have to admit that I really enjoy it! But don't tell anyone that!

And I'm good at it. After three years of wading through the forms and bureaucracy, I know a large amount of information about adoption from China and how it works.

I have two wonderful biological siblings, and three wonderful siblings from Korea and China! David is from Gwangju, Korea, and came home in 2001. Isaac is from Xi'an, China and came home in early 2010. Joshua is from Wuhan, China and came home in March 2011!

So many adoptive parents lack access to even the most basic paperwork guidance and information. Perhaps their agency is closed for the day, or the instructions they were given were less then helpful. Even the best agencies are limited in the amount of information they can provide in their new client packets.

After observing this fact for several years, an idea began to be formed in my mind.

What if there was a site that gathered all that information into one place that was easy to navigate?

All the steps, all the forms, all the latest instructions.

Comprehensive explanations of government steps, contact information for government officials and agencies along the way, as well as beginner's information for those just getting started?

Would there be a place in the adoption community for such a resource?

I believe there is. And it is with this motivation that I have created this site. If I only help one family along in their journey, it will have been worth it.
